Land
Use and Zoning
Our
attorneys have earned the confidence of our clients by expertly
representing their interest in land use matters in counties throughout
suburban Maryland.
We handle cases involving zoning, special exceptions and permits, variances
and waivers, departures from regulatory standards, subdivision approvals,
permit applications, and appeals of land use and zoning matters.
Government Relations and Lobbying
OMNG
has a long history representing and lobbing for individual and corporate
clients—from large corporations, including AT&T and Rosecroft
Raceway, to individual property owners—before state and local
regulatory agencies and legislative bodies, as well as for government
contract proposals for major governmental initiatives such as computer and
software acquisitions, establishment of health plans for government
employees and development of government-owned land.
Administrative and Regulatory Proceedings
These
areas include, among others, matters involving Maryland Occupational Safety
and Health issues/Health Care related processes and proceedings and
appearances before local licensing boards. O'Malley, Miles, Nylen &
Gilmore has also served as legal counsel for
several Maryland
municipalities.
Alcoholic Beverage Licenses
OMNG
has significant experience handling alcoholic beverage licensing matters in
jurisdictions throughout the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area. In
addition to obtaining new and renewal licenses, transferring licenses, and
monitoring licenses to assure compliance with applicable regulations, our
attorneys have defended clients charged with license regulation violations.
