Sally
Presler McCash draws on over thirty years of practice experience to serve
her clients, which include real estate developers, banking and lending
institutions, title insurance underwriters, investors and business owners.
Ms. McCash is experienced in all stages of the real estate
transaction process. She is
highly skilled in the negotiation and drafting of sales contracts, leases
and financing documents, and has a wealth of experience with guiding clients
through the myriad due diligence requirements involved in complex real
estate closings. Ms. McCash also
has an extensive background in land title analysis, remediation of title
defects, and the prosecution as well as the defense of title insurance
claims. In addition, Ms.
McCash’s practice includes complex estate planning and estate
administration. She works
closely with clients to realize their financial and estate planning goals,
and is well versed in the various planning vehicles available to achieve tax
savings, wealth preservation and charitable giving.
Ms. McCash also has many years of experience in matters of estate and
trust administration, including will contests, and practices regularly
before the Registers of Wills for various counties in
As the Practice Group Leader of the Real Estate and Banking Practice Group, Ms. McCash supervises a team of seven other attorneys to effectively serve the broad range of needs of the Firm’s real estate clients. She also serves as a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. In nearly twenty-five years of service to the Firm, Ms. McCash has come to be known as a trusted resource on all matters relating to real property law.
Ms.
McCash utilizes the breadth of her experience to be both a successful
practitioner and an informed educator.
From 1984 until 2005, she served as an adjunct professor teaching
Land Transactions and Finance at
the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.
Between 1992 and 1998, Ms. McCash also taught a course with the
