Kemba A. Hendrix is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group, where she concentrates her practice on general litigation, civil litigation, divorce and domestic relations. Working closely with the Firm’s senior Litigation Practice Group attorneys, Mrs. Hendrix is involved in all areas of the Firm’s litigation practice.
Prior to joining O’Malley, Miles, Nylen & Gilmore, P.A., Mrs. Hendrix developed a strong background in drafting legislative language for Bills concerning literacy, Charter schools, and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act Regulations while interning for the House Education and Labor Committee. In addition, Mrs. Hendrix had the opportunity to enhance her advocacy skills while interning at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), where she assisted in labor and discrimination mediations.
Mrs. Hendrix graduated from Howard University School of
Law where she was involved in the Charles Houston Hamilton Moot Court Team;
and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic as a part of her internship
with the EEOC. Mrs. Hendrix
received her B.A. from Xavier
University of Louisiana.
