F. Robert Troll, Jr. is an experienced appellate and
trial attorney who focuses his practice on commercial litigation, real
estate matters, and employment law.
Mr. Troll has expertise in directing, negotiating, and trying complex
matters on behalf of lending institutions, title insurance companies, and
employers. Mr. Troll also helps
his clients achieve their goals before mediation and arbitration panels.
Mr. Troll is accomplished in
handling all aspects of intricate bankruptcy and liability issues on behalf
of his lending institution clients.
During the course of his career, Mr. Troll has represented two of the
largest savings and loan associations in the

employers in general liability matters, including wrongful discharge claims,
unlawful discrimination claims, human relations commission matters, and
employer severance agreements.
Mr. Troll successfully represented an employer in the landmark case of
Meritor Savings Bank, F.S.B. v. Vinson, 477 U.S. 57 (1986).
Through his representation, Mr. Troll was able to persuade the United
States Supreme Court to reverse a decision that was adverse to his employer
client.
Meritor was the
first sexual harassment case decided by the United States Supreme Court.
